Phantom Desk ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use Phantom Desk.
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to provide our service:
- Account Information: Your email address and name when you create an account. This is stored securely via our authentication provider (Supabase).
- Payment Information: Payment processing is handled entirely by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processor. We never store your credit card numbers, bank details, or other financial information on our servers.
- License Information: Your license key and plan type are stored to validate your subscription.
2. Data Processed Locally
Phantom Desk is designed with privacy as a core principle. The following data is processed entirely on your local machine and is never sent to our servers:
- Audio for Transcription: Voice input is processed through your configured API provider (e.g., Cerebras/Groq) directly from your machine. We do not intercept, store, or have access to your audio data.
- Screenshots for AI Analysis: Screen captures taken for AI analysis are sent directly from your machine to your configured AI provider. We never see, store, or process your screenshots.
- Conversations & Queries: All your conversations with the AI assistant are processed through your own API keys and are not stored on our infrastructure.
- API Keys: Your AI provider API keys (e.g., Cerebras) are stored locally in your .env file on your machine. We never have access to them.
3. What We Do NOT Do
- We do not track your usage or behavior within the application.
- We do not use analytics, cookies, or tracking pixels on the desktop application.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
- We do not store any of your AI conversations, voice data, or screenshots.
- We do not collect telemetry data from the desktop application.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Razorpay: For payment processing. Razorpay's privacy policy applies to payment transactions. Visit razorpay.com/privacy.
- Supabase: For authentication and account management. Visit supabase.com/privacy.
- Your AI Provider (e.g., Cerebras): AI queries go directly from your machine to the provider using your API key. Their respective privacy policies apply.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your account information. All data transmission between your browser and our services is encrypted using TLS/SSL. License keys are generated using cryptographically secure methods.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information (email and license data) for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at support@fapbin.com.
7. Children's Privacy
Phantom Desk is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
